The Berwick YMCA

This 20,000 sq. ft. two-story addition was tucked into the corner of the Berwick YMCA, a former 3-story high school. Work included the design of a new indoor swimming pool with a zero entry sloped area for children.

Extensive underpinning of the existing structure was required to accomplish the construction of the new interior swimming pool.

New locker rooms and a new entry and administrative area with a new elevator were included in the project.  Work was performed while the existing building remained operational. The design provides for future expansion and an additional swimming pool.
