Back Mountain Recreation Center

This new 19,500 sq. ft. recreation center provides a growing church community with a large multi-purpose gymnasium with bleachers for 500 persons and a stage area for various productions. The building also houses a racquetball court, and aerobic /weight room, a recreation room with kitchen, and church offices on the 3,200 sq. ft. mezzanine. The building is designed to accommodate up to 900 persons. A clean, modern design in concrete, glass, horizontal panels, and translucent awnings re-thinks the look of the typical pre-engineered buildings.

The annexation of adjacent parcels as well as state highway occupancy permits, were part of this major land development. The firm often acted as the prime consultant for land development so as to better coordinate the land use planning with the architecture.
