100 Baltimore Drive

East Mountain Business Park Plains, PA 1995

This 4-story office building was built for a regional real estate development firm and their tenants. As a speculative office space structure, the architect’s involvement was to develop documents for construction of the building’s shell, including exterior skin, public lobby spaces, and the vertical circulation cores.

The client’s request was for a simple and straightforward commercial office building where the primary building material would provide long-term maintenance free serviceability along with esthetic value. Steel hangers were attached to a pre-engineered multi-story steel frame to support the continuous brick spandrels above the ribbon windows. A brick archway and full height glass area define the entry, and a notched corner reduces the boxiness of the otherwise simple shape.
